“Gimiro is a visionary artist who has spent years perfecting his craft. His passion for video games and art has led him to create a masterpiece called The Zone. This game is a testament to his creativity and dedication.

Gimiro’s inspiration for The Zone comes from his dreams. He often wakes up in the middle of the night, sketching and writing down the surroundings of his dream. He then incorporates these elements into the game, creating a surreal and dream-like atmosphere that transports players to another world.

The Zone is made in a oldschool video game engine with a lot of limitations, for example he can’t make angles that are not a factor to 22,5 degrees. All models can be maximum 3x3x3 meters, which sounds fine untill you start modelling buildings and other big structures.

Despite the limitations of the oldschool video game engine, Gimiro has managed to create a stunning world that is both complex and detailed. He enjoys the challenge of finding ways to work around the engine’s limitations, using mathematical calculations to create different scenes and scenarios.

The Zone is not just a game, it’s also a showcase of Gimiro’s drawings. Many of the areas in the game are based on his sketches, giving players a glimpse into his imagination.
